Our New Instruments have arrived!

It is with great excitement that we announce the arrival of our new Mass Spectrometry Instruments at Loyola University Chicago’s Health Science Campus. In order to stay at the cutting edge of Mass Spec technology, we have installed the ThermoFisher Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid Mass Spectrometer coupled to the ThermoFisher Vanquish Neo UHPLC System. These top of the line instruments allow for our students and researchers to explore an extended m/z range and single cell proteomics and biopharmaceutical characterization experiments.

Furthermore, our ThermoFisher Altis Quadropole Mass Spectrometer coupled to an UltiMate 3000 HPLC and UHPLC System. These new instruments offer incredible precision for low-level compound detection. The accuracy and quantitation in complex matrices give our students the opportunity to learn applied skills in real-world applications. Our program’s commitment to supporting the learning of students who will be able to begin careers or enter further education with a one-of-a-kind, innovative, education is demonstrated in our dedication to teaching students using the very latest in Mass Spectrometry and our ability to support them as they become experts in this evolving field.
